Oloomna

Use case

An office corridor display that keeps everyone up to date.

Oloomna turns a screen in your office corridor into a clear board of this week’s activities, upcoming events and countdowns to the dates that matter, built to be read from a few steps away. Your team updates it from the editor, and the screen follows on its own.

What people see as they walk past

  • This week first. This week’s activities lead the screen, with the team, time and location for each, and today’s activities clearly marked.
  • The weeks ahead. The rest of the month and the next follow, grouped by month. Long lists page through automatically.
  • Countdowns. Large countdown cards for major projects and events, each one disappearing after its date.
  • Everyday details. A large clock and today’s date, local weather, and a feature panel with your latest Instagram posts, an image or a QR code.

Why a corridor screen works

Seen every day

Corridors are where people pass several times a day. Plans reach them without another email or intranet post.

Only what’s approved

An activity appears only when it is confirmed, approved for the screen and not hidden, and only after an editor publishes.

Built to stay on

The screen checks for newly published changes on its own, and keeps showing the last board, with a clear note, if the connection drops.

Set it up in three steps

  1. Get your editor account

Request access for your organisation. Editor accounts are set up by an administrator, so there is no instant sign-up.

  2. Add activities and countdowns

Sign in to the editor, add what’s coming up, mark what is approved for the screen, preview the board, then publish.

  3. Open your display link on the screen

Open your organisation’s private display link in the screen’s web browser. It shows the published board only, and you can replace the link at any time.

Tips for a corridor screen

  • Put it where people pause. Near lifts, kitchens, printers or the main walkway, rather than a spot people hurry past.
  • Mount it at eye level. People read a screen they can glance at without tilting their head.
  • Choose a layout. Classic suits a busy list of this week’s activities; Calendar shows the whole month at a glance.
  • Keep countdowns for big moments. Two or three countdowns to major dates stand out more than many.

Frequently asked questions

What size screen works best in a corridor?

Oloomna is laid out for full HD and 4K screens and built to be read from a few steps away. For most corridors a screen of around 43 to 55 inches works well; wider spaces can go bigger.

Does someone need to update the screen by hand?

No. Editors publish changes from the Oloomna editor, and the screen checks for newly published changes on its own.

Can we choose which activities appear?

Yes. Only activities that are confirmed, approved for the screen and not hidden appear, and only after an editor publishes.

What does the screen need to run Oloomna?

A screen with a modern web browser and an internet connection. You open your organisation’s private display link in the browser, and the board fills the screen.
